About the event

Is your child having difficulty with their breathing activities? Do you feel your child could benefit from having more time to work on correct nasal breathing? Are they struggling to reach their goals? This class will help your child become comfortable and confident at reaching their breathing goals. This class is geared towards helping clients build on their stamina to reach greater breath holds. Great for the “over breather”.  Did you know nasal breathing has been used to help athletes with sports performance? This class is a two-step program. We begin with focusing on our everyday breathing. During this time we will be creating breathing routines and correct breathing sequences, increasing oxygen uptake and delivery into the muscles, which will improve your energy and strengthen your breathing muscles. The second step of the program will focus on breath hold exercises. Holding our breath prevents too much carbon dioxide (CO2) from escaping the body. When we breathe less air we optimize the flow of oxygen throughout our body. CO2 is responsible for keeping our blood vessels open. Less CO2 means restricted blood vessels, resulting in restricted blood flow and delivery throughout the body. This creates oxygen levels to also drop throughout the body. Low blood flow makes us feel stressed, tired, agitated, and brings on brain fog.
