Oral Microbiome Testing
Why do we test?
For selected patients, microbiome testing can provide valuable information that complements our evaluation of facial growth, airway health, breathing patterns, oral hygiene, and overall oral health.
How is the test done?
A sample of saliva is collected and sent to a lab (currently ImpetusDX.com).
The fee for the test is $150. This includes the test, discussing the results with Dr. Raphael, and helping you find a practitioner who can help you solve the problem.
